In this blog post I’m going to explain the importance of finishing your business well and I’m going to show you the 7 stages every successful business must growth through, so that you can have a roadmap that will give you the freedom and lifestyle you wanted when you started in business.

The amount of people talking about starting a business these days is amazing. Entrepreneurship seems to be a trend among the young and old. Literally, everywhere I turn I hear about someone starting a new business, working on a start-up, and seeking the big investment like that’s the pay-off. It’s as if all the world wants to start something new. Become famous for it. Get investment dollars for it. Get bought for it. Become rich because of it.

On the other hand, very few people ever talk about finishing a business. In fact, in most businesses, the concept is rarely ever considered beyond making the big bucks, getting freedom, and living the good life. To quickly are the entrepreneurs and business leaders overwhelmed to take their business to the next growth stage.

As a representative of the Kingdom of God Almighty, we shouldn’t jump into business unless we intend to finish well, and that means growing our business through the following seven growth stages:

7 Growth Stages Every Business Must Grow Through to Finish Well, Provide Freedom, and Leave an Inheritance to the Third Generation:

  1. Idea – You have discovered an opportunity and cover it in prayer, research, and advice.
  2. Startup – You have launched and you’re moving forward.
  3. Breakeven – Your expenses equal your revenue.
  4. Profitability – You’re out of the red and consistently in the black.
  5. Sustainability – You’ve reached quadruple bottom line standards.
  6. Scalability – You begin multiplying with sustainability.
  7. Succession – You’ve successfully transferred leadership and/or ownership.
